The Books of the Holy Bible Learning Activity is a great tool to help children of all ages learn the Books of the Holy Bible along with its divisions. It's a fun way for students to understand the basic purpose for the Book (history, prophecy, letters, etc.) and help them to find each one quickly.
They'll be able to follow along with Bible study and worship services, because they'll know what division (Old Testament or New Testament) and what book the lesson is coming from. No more dry memorization sessions, but a hands-on puzzle activity that will hold a child's attention.
It was originally designed in 1989 by a Sunday School Teacher interested in having students become proficient at finding any book, chapter and verse in the Holy Bible. Participants became familiar with the contents of the Holy Bible and were encouraged to learn the importance of a life-long habit of daily reading their Bible.
Students enjoyed the Books of the Holy Bible Learning Activity and the recognition of receiving each Certificate of Achievement for becoming proficient in reciting the books of the Old and New Testaments. Child care centers and Christian book stores were surveyed about the Activity, and all responded favorably.
